Q: Is my phone compatible?
A: There is an easy way to find out. Click here to go to Phone Compatibility Test page.
Please note: Songs 2 Mobile is compatible with over 150 phones and is available in over 50 countries: USA, Canada, UK, France, Germany, Australia, Spain, just to name a few! But we kindly ask you to verify that your phone is compatible to store and play full music files, firstly. And secondly, you must be able to get the processed file to your phone, either via WAP/internet access for delivery "over the air" or via a cable, Bluetooth or infrared link to your Computer.
Q: I bought a License but did not receive my Registration Code. Where is it?
A: The Registration Code is sent out to the email address that you provided to us during the payment process. The code is sent out automatically once payment is confirmed, which is usually "immediately" (except if you paid by eCheck, please read on).
However, if you do not find it, please make sure you check all potential folders in your email system: Inbox, Spam, Junk mail, Bulk mail, etc. (each email system works differently as to how it treats new such mail). Except for eCheck payers, if you have not received the Registration Code after checking your email account carefully and waiting for 2-3 hours (in case there is some unexpected delay in the delivery of the email), please contact our Customer Support Team using the form below.
Payment by eCheck: If you have paid by eCheck, the registration code is not sent out until the eCheck is cleared and an "OK" is given from the payment system. Once this is done, the Registration Code will be sent out automatically as well, but it usually takes PayPal five days to approve eChecks. Therefore, please wait to contact us since we will not be able to speed up such process!
Q: I lost my registration key. How can I have it sent to me?
A: If you lost your registration code, there is no problem.
All you have to do is to fill the form below with the name and email address used when you registered with us and you will receive the registration code at that email.
Q: The quality of the processed file is lower than in the preview, why?
A: Songs 2 Mobile attempts to process the file to the highest quality sound possible for each phone type and model. But it is important to remember that a processed song file will always have a lower quality than what you hear on a computer because of one main issue: to make the song file smaller to fit more music on your phone, we have to compromise a bit on the quality. We don’t like it, but it is a bit of the “cake and eat it too” situation.
Please note, we have added a file quality choice when you download the song. You can choose a higher quality song file, which will be bigger in size, or a lower quality which will be much smaller.
Q: Why is a music/audio file not compatible with Songs 2 Mobile?
A: Most music and audio files are compatible with our application; however, if the file is DRM (Digital Rights Management) protected, Songs 2 Mobile will not be able to process it. Songs 2 Mobile is compatible with the following types of files:
- MP3
- WMA
- OGG/Vorbis
- AAC, M4A, MP4 (files without DRM protection, e.g. free songs from iTunes)
- WAV (e.g. audio files made on your computer: voice recordings, sounds, etc.)
- Audio CD files* (songs from your music CDs)
Important: It is your responsibility to have the rights to use/transfer the song file to your phone.
*Access to audio CD tracks is dependant on CD drive compatibility; therefore, this option may not be available on every computer.
Q: How much does it cost?
A: The cost of a License is US$9.95. When you buy a License, you are able to process as many songs you want and transfer them to your phone.
This will enable you to make your mobile phone into an mp3 player, quickly, easily and inexpensively.
The cost of one single processed song file is US$1.49. You can buy just one at a time if you want.
The cost of the License is less than 5 individually bought files! So, if you want to process more than 5 song files for you and your friends, the best deal around... anywhere... is to buy a Songs 2 Mobile License. Note: Your network operator may charge you for the WAP/Internet download of the file to your phone.
